Gregory Chenoweth is a trombonist, teacher, music arranger, and marching band drill designer based out of New Freedom, Pennsylvania..

Gregory earned his M.M. in Trombone Performance from Northern Arizona University in 2019. As a trombonist, Gregory has performed as Principal Trombone of the Northern Arizona University Wind Symphony under conductors Dr. Patricia Hoy and Dr. Stephen Meyer. Gregory has also performed as Principal Trombone of The Orchestra of Northern Arizona under conductor David Cripps. Gregory has performed with the NAU Symphony Orchestra, was Lead Trombone in both the NAU Jazz Ensemble I and II, and has been an active performer in chamber ensembles at NAU.

Gregory earned his B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009 and his M.M. in Instrumental Conducting from Northern Arizona University in 2019. As a teacher, Gregory has worked with many marching bands in Pennsylvania as a visual technician, brass technician, and marching coordinator. He has also taught elementary general music, elementary beginning band, middle school band, and high school choir, guitar, jazz band, percussion ensemble, and wind ensemble. Gregory draws his teaching style and techniques from his previous teachers, including Dr. Jack Stamp, Dr. Patricia Hoy, and Dr. Stephen Meyer.

Gregory has arranged multiple pieces for marching band, trombone choir, trombone quartet, and brass quintet performed by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Marching Band, the IUP Trombone Choir, the NAU Trombone Choir.

As a drill designer, Gregory has written drill for many high school marching bands in Pennsylvania and Arizona since 2009. He has also designed drill for the NAU Lumberjack Marching Band Pre-Game and Half-Time shows.
